BioDundee 2015 Conference

At the start of June we righted a wrong, of not being present, at last years event so this year we committed to exhibiting at BioDundee 2015. This would be our first time exhibiting and a great excuse for extending the Creatifik branding across new media, update our cards and employ a new services leaflet.

Dundee is a marvellous city to spend time in for scientific and design purposes. It’s strident life sciences department within Dundee University and its UNESCO status as city of design plus its planned V&A Museum all adds to the curious mix of Scotland’s sunniest city. BioDundee2015 is a some what low key addition to this mix and this years focus was: Healthcare: An Innovative Multidisciplinary Approach. The event was held in different sessions of: precision medicine, big data, finance, regenerative medicine, cell therapies and innovation.

We rolled out our new event materials to pitch up our offering among a range of other interesting exhibitors. As we sell this type of design ours should be a cut above the rest – and it was. Seen below we brought a single pull-up,  our large and short leaflets and enough to business cards to choke a horse. Additionally we brought water and Robinsons blackcurrent, which turned it a colour aligned to our core branding, as was the entire room, to give away to attendees.

The event saw a whole range of attendees and we met many of them who passed by or came and enquired “what do you do? Answering this question was the reason we committed to exhibit and we met a lots of key contacts. The two days passed rather quickly and concluded interestingly with a presentation within the Dundee University life sciences building that showed the costal development and the V&A Museum, plus a tour of several laboratories. This was massively enjoyed and we learnt a lot of what Dundee is doing and where it’s heading for tomorrow.
